CDQ Speaks On When A Top-Rated Manager Said He Wouldn’t Be Successful




Well known Nigeria rapper, Sodiq Abubakar, otherwise called CDQ, has discharged his second music collection titled, Ibile Mugabe.

In a meeting with Punch, he portrayed the troublesome occasions he has experienced in his music vocation, he uncovered that he never suspected that life would be this ruddy for him.

He reviewed that the most agonizing encounters of his was the point at which a top of the line artiste supervisor in the nation revealed to him that he would not prevail as a rapper.

"He revealed to me that my style of music was excessively nearby and needed business esteem. In any case, I trusted in myself and I continued buckling down. When you know your quality, you simply need to harp on it," CDQ said.

CDQ, expressed that he chose to name his new collection after the previous President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, to demonstrate how his tenacity had helped him to satisfy his fantasies as an artiste.

" 'Ibile' in Yoruba dialect signifies 'grassroots' and we realize that the acronym Mugabe symbolizes hardheadedness. The title of my collection needs to do with a kid from the grassroots who was resolved to prevail definitely."

Any semblance of Wizkid, Davido, Kizz Daniel, Mr. Eazi and Tiwa Savage are included as visitor artistes in the new collection, evidently to improve its incentive in the music showcase.

CDQ conceded that he had deliberately asked for their contributions on the collection. "I trust that there is increasingly that one can accomplish when two heads meet up. When you endeavor to grasp different artistes and do music that will engage their own fans, it makes your collection more attractive," he said.

Nonetheless, the rapper waved away the hint that his music style pulled in just normal road people. He stated, "I do music for everyone. My tune, Flex, has been out for over multi month and the National Broadcasting Commission doesn't have an issue with it."
