The mechanical engineering student's association (mesa) crutech chapter, from all indications is set to conduct elections into the
various positions at the level of the department.
The elections which had been earlier scheduled for Friday 22nd July 2016, was
postponed to friday 29th July as the day of candidates security screening was postponed to Thursday 30th July 2016 by the university's security unit.
Speaking about the elections during the pre-election congress today , the Chairman of
the Electoral Committee, comr. Vincent Ndifon encouraged students to come out in their numbers to exercise their franchise and vote for the candidate of their choice, he also thanked the candidates for their compliance with the security screening.
Comr. Ndifon promised to conduct a transparent, free and fair elections.
ELECTION TIME TABLE:
Candidates manifesto presentation: 9am - 10am
Accreditation of eligible voters: 10am - 10:30am
Voting 10:30am - 1pm
CRITERIA FOR VOTING:
Only candidates with their Current MESA dues receipt, or a Valid Student ID will be eligible to vote
